This Privacy Policy explains how LoadLab.AI LLC (LoadLab.AI, we, us, or our) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our freight-optimization service (the Service).
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: company name and email. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Plan data you enter: SKUs, quantities, destinations, ready dates, rates, and equipment settings.
- Subscription and billing information, handled by our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Support messages and feedback you send us.
- Basic technical data your browser sends, such as device and browser type.
Where your data lives
Your account and related data are stored on our database and hosting provider, Supabase. Account credentials are kept only as one-way hashes. Some data, such as your working plan, may also be cached locally in your browser for performance. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS, and our provider encrypts data at rest. We retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations; you may request deletion as described below.
Service providers we use
- Supabase, for database, authentication, and hosting.
- Tin Cup Connect, for subscription checkout and billing.
- Anthropic, for the optional in-app assistant, as described below.
The in-app assistant
The optional Freighty assistant can use Anthropic's API to answer questions. When it does, your message and relevant plan context are sent to Anthropic to generate a response, subject to Anthropic's terms; data sent through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. In offline mode, the assistant answers from a built-in knowledge base and no data leaves your device. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the assistant.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the Service, and where required by law or to protect our rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including hashed passwords and encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete your account data at any time from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, reach us through the Contact page on this site.
Cookies and tracking
We use only the storage necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
Children
LoadLab.AI is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
